Our wipes are made from 100% plant-based cellulose – from “shrubs” rather than trees – it is the most sustainably grown form of cellulose. It is also alcohol free. 97% of baby wipes available in supermarkets are made from a cellulose/polypropylene (plastic) mix, which means they are not biodegradable and never break down.
Made with non-toxic and plant-based ingredients, there is nothing in our baby wet tissues that is harmful to ingest. It’s safe to use the wipes on faces and hands.
We would never recommend flushing any kind of wipe. Even 100% biodegradable wipes do not behave the same way as toilet paper and are one of the main causes of blockages in our sewerage systems.
